The Magician is the second card in the Major Arcana, though it is numerically number 1, it follows The Fool who is numerically 0. The Magician is the evolution of chaos (The Fool) getting channeled into a physical form. He’s a physical container for the divine, a being who holds all the power of creation at his fingertips, much like Jesus or Adam.
